Chic Design & Remodeling, Inc. is a boutique remodeling and construction company, licensed, bonded and insured, serving homeowners in San Diego and North County. We remodel kitchens, bathrooms and whole homes, build room and second-story additions and ADUs, and convert garages into living space.
Everything before you sign a contract is free: the consultation, follow-up meetings and your estimate, even if you haven’t set a budget yet. If your project needs architectural plans or engineering, those are quoted separately. Victor helps you understand layout options, finish selections and the work involved. For kitchens, he sketches a 3D layout with you at the first visit, and your estimate includes a free rendering of the proposed kitchen.
What Working With Us Is Like
Planning the slabs with clients at the stone yard.
Victor goes over each slab with you: where it gets cut and which piece goes in which room.
We start by listening to your goals and reviewing the space together. Your written proposal defines the scope, estimated timing and included work, so the plan is clear before construction begins.
You keep a direct line to Victor throughout the remodel. Material orders and expected deliveries are coordinated before work begins. If opening walls turns up something unexpected, he shows you and recommends a fix, and anything that changes the price gets a written change order you approve first. Small things that don’t change the price, he takes care of and tells you about.

Meet Victor, Owner
Meet Victor, Owner
Victor has worked in remodeling since 2012 and started Chic in 2023. He has worked on more than 150 projects across his career, from bathrooms and kitchens to whole-home remodels and additions.
Victor personally handles the first appointment, estimate, project oversight and final walkthrough. He visits active jobs frequently during the workweek, discusses questions with homeowners and sends progress updates and photos when clients are away. He holds the work to the standard he’d want in his own house: waterproofing checked before it’s covered, cabinets measured on site.
